Tri-5k Walk/ Run

Stage 3: 5k all the way!

USAT Sanctioned Tri-5K Walk/Run

The Tri-5K Walk/Run is an entry level walking/ running event on the Tri-Oswego course. This is a timed event however this is intended to be entry level so you can race to compete or simply race to complete. The event is for all fitness levels as a stage 3 introduction to Tri-Oswego.

  • Walk or Run: 5k closed road through the city of Oswego and SUNY campus
  • Finish: 5k participants finish side by side with triathletes and duathletes at the event finish line!

Post Event BBQ, Vendors, and Entertainment!

The Maines Foods and Michelob Ultra Food and Beverage area overlooking scenic Lake Ontario will be open for the Post Race BBQ for Athletes & Volunteers. BBQ will be available for purchase for all 5k participants and spectators. Michelob Ultra and other adult beverages available for purchase along with non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day.

Visit health and fitness related vendors and childrens activities throughout the event as a spectator or after you've finished the races. Awards will be distributed as races complete and live music will be playing in the afternoon. Free children's fun run will take place towards the end of the days events.

    8:30am-10am Registration opens in Wrights Landing

  • Tri-5k Start

    10:30am 5k event begins. Runners must observe signage and stay within coned lanes as necessary to safely allow bike traffic. The event finish line is located at Breitbeck Park.
